Under Nissan’s new rescue plan(see front page for reference) they’ll cease selling most of their current cars in Europe, with the exception of a couple of crossovers, obviously.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Nissan’s main European plants are in Spain and in the UK. With Brexit happening sooner rather than later and with PM’s BJ plan for a rather hard Brexit, it’s not too hard to see how Nissan will prefer the larger EU market to the complicated UK market(not to mention that labor is a little cheaper in Spain than in the UK).

I’d have to imagine that manufacturing anything in the UK is about to be kinda a bad business decision no?

It depends if the local market can swallow enough of the said production to make it profitable.

I’d think so. Such a small market with no(?) trade agreements.

The queen should’ve stopped Brexit
the actual British brands already left (Jaguar and Land Rover have a factory in I think Slovakia or one of those eastern Euro countries, for example)
The EU just made, or is making, a trade agreement with Japan, so all those British Hondas and Nissans will probably come from Japan now
British RHD cars will almost certainly come from Japan

I’m not too familiar with British politics but I've heard the Queen can't really do shit.

Jaguar Land Rover already had the Slovakian site, plus the main Production sites are still at Castle Bromwich for Jag and Solihull for Land Rover. Some people think that because the Defender is a built at the Slovakian site it’s because Land Rover is leaving U.K., it’s not, it’s because they are building new production lines that’ll have a different architecture and are going EV.
Source? I live in Coventry and know people from all over the JLR sites.
Aston Martin is building a new factory in Wales, I seriously doubt any major British manufacturer is gonna move their entire production out of the country, it’s still a selling point. Don’t know why, but it is.
